From the first delivery in 2016 until now we have delivered FRP composite grating and related products to all five platforms that has been manufactured for the Johan Sverdrup Field.
FRP grating is chosen as it gives a significant weight reduction, lowers the maintenance cost and provides a safer, stronger and more durable solution for the coming 50 years.

Johan Sverdrup is the third largest oil field in the North Sea, and lies 140 kilometres west of Stavanger.
With expected resources of 2.7 billion barrels of oil, the field is one of the most important industrial projects in Norway for the next 50 years. Phase 1 of the field was opened in October 2019, and phase 2 is scheduled to begin production in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Our FRP grating has a track record of 41 years and the first panels that were installed offshore are still operational.
