Synthetic sheet piling – the green alternative
Synthetic vinyl (ShoreGuard) and composite (UltraComposite) walls are the most successful alternative, especially for the widely-used wooden, concrete and steel shoring walls. These synthetic walls have as many advantages as applications.
The sheet piles are available in Z- and Omega formats in widths from 305 to 914 mm and in heights from 127 to 432 mm. Also, a flat panel profile as well as corner profiles are available.
ShoreGuard sheet pile are currently used in more than 56 countries around the globe.
The synthetic piles are made from recycled PVC building material, with a UV-resistant finish and can cope with huge differences in temperature. The “cradle to cradle” concept of a recyclable product is in full effect.

As far as the foundation goes, the application of the synthetic sheet piles knows no limit; where steel can reach, so can synthetic sheet piles!
In case the soil is particularity hard, a special technique can be used. We insert a supportive steel bar (mandrel) to support when piling into the soil. The mandrel is removed after.
