MARRS® @ Valhall

MSS facilitated for the installation of 100 m of NORSOK compliant MARRS® OFFSHORE handrails to replace corroded aluminium handrails situated along a 50 m walkway. The phenolic handrails varied from 2.5 m to 4.5 m in size and were
manufactured from structural FRP profiles to BS EN 10204:2004 Cert 3.1 Quality Assurance.

Field Service Engineers completed the removal of the corroded handrails prior to installation of the lightweight MARRS® OFFSHORE replacements. This project marked the first installation of NORSOK compliant
MARRS® OFFSHORE handrails in the Norwegian North Sea.

Engineering Services Engineer conducted a 3D laser survey to obtain accurate site data for the production of detailed CAD drawings.
